Wyandotte Resident Arrested for Child Sexually Abusive Material

WYANDOTTE, MICH. The Michigan State Police (MSP) Computer Crimes Unit, Internet Crimes Against Children (ICAC) Task Force is announcing the arrest of Matthew James Albert Lujan, 46, of Wyandotte, for aggravated possession of child sexually abusive material, and using a computer to commit a crime
Lujan was arrested following an investigation that originated when a cyber tip was received from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children (NCMEC). A search of Lujan’s residence and vehicle resulted in digital evidence being seized.
Lujan was charged with four counts of aggravated possession of child sexually abusive material and four counts of using a computer to commit a crime. Lujan was arraigned in the 27th District Court on Friday, February 16.
If convicted, Lujan faces up to life in prison.
The MSP ICAC Task Force was assisted by the MSP Emergency Support Team, the Detroit & Southeast Michigan Information & Intelligence Center (DSEMIIC,) and the Wyandotte Police Department.
