Williamsburg man Arrested for Aggravated Possession of Child Sexually Abusive Material

WILLIAMSBURG, MICH. The Michigan State Police (MSP) Computer Crimes Unit, Internet Crimes Against Children (ICAC) Task Force is announcing the arrest of Chase Amadeo Brigham, 24 of Williamsburg, for aggravated possession of child sexually abusive material and using a computer to commit a crime.
Brigham was arrested following an investigation which began when a tip was received from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children (NCMEC). A search of Brigham’s residence resulted in numerous internet capable devices being seized.
Brigham was charged with two counts of aggravated possession of child sexually abusive material - involving more than 100 images of child sexually abusive material and one count of using a computer to commit a crime. Brigham was arraigned in the 86th Judicial District Court on August 11.
The MSP ICAC Task Force was assisted by the MSP Traverse City Post, and the MSP Canine Team.
