Tuscola County Resident Arrested for Aggravated Possession of Child Sexually Abusive Material

DEFORD, MICH. The Michigan State Police (MSP) Computer Crimes Unit, Internet Crimes Against Children (ICAC) Task Force is announcing the arrest of John Duncan Crawford III, 52 of Deford, for child sexually abusive material-aggravated possession and using a computer to commit a crime.
Crawford was arrested following an investigation in which digital evidence was seized from his person by Michigan Department of Corrections (MDOC) for probation violations. Child pornography was located by MDOC and turned over to MSP for further investigation.
Crawford was charged with 25 counts of child sexually abusive material-aggravated possession and 25 counts of using a computer to commit a crime. Crawford was arraigned in the 71B District Court on Thursday, October 26.
