Troy Resident Arrested for Child Sexually Abusive Activity

TROY, MICH. The Michigan State Police (MSP) Computer Crimes Unit, Internet Crimes Against Children (ICAC) Task Force is announcing the arrest of Kyle Breitinger, 37, of Troy, for aggravated possession of child sexually abusive material.
Breitinger was arrested following an investigation originating from a cyber tip received from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children (NCMEC). A search of Breitinger’s residence resulted in digital evidence being seized.
Breitinger was charged with six counts of aggravated child sexually abusive material. Breitinger was arraigned in the 52-4 District Court on Thursday, September 26.
If convicted, Breitinger faces up to ten years for each count of aggravated possession of child sexually abusive material.
