Sebewaing Resident Arrested for Possession and Distribution of Child Sexually Abusive Material

SEBEWAING, MICH. The Michigan State Police (MSP) Computer Crimes Unit, Internet Crimes Against Children (ICAC) Task Force is announcing the arrest of Thomas Lee Aikens, 40 of Sebewaing, for possession and distribution of child sexually abusive material.
Aikens was arrested following an investigation in which digital evidence was seized from his home. The investigation was initiated when it was learned that Aikens was viewing files of child sexually abusive material on the internet.
Aikens was charged with one count of transporting child sexually abusive material, one count of distributing child sexually abusive material, and one count of possessing child sexually abusive material.
Aikens was arraigned in the United States District Court, Eastern District of Michigan on Wednesday, December 7.
