Saginaw Resident Arrested for Aggravated Possession and Distribution of Child Sexually Abusive Material

SAGINAW, MICH. The Michigan State Police (MSP) Computer Crimes Unit, Internet Crimes Against Children (ICAC) Task Force is announcing the arrest of Richard William North, 74 of Saginaw, for aggravated possession and distribution of child sexually abusive material and using a computer to commit a crime.
North surrendered himself to the court following an investigation in which digital evidence was seized from his home. The investigation was initiated when it was learned that North was viewing files of child sexually abusive material on the internet.
North was charged with one count aggravated distribution of child sexually abusive material, one count of child sexually abusive activity, two counts of aggravated possession of child sexually abusive material, and four counts of using a computer to commit a crime. North was arraigned in 70th District Court on Wednesday, January 31.
