Plainwell Man Arrested for Child Sexually Abusive Material

PLAINWELL, MICH. The Michigan State Police (MSP) Computer Crimes Unit, Internet Crimes Against Children (ICAC) Task Force is announcing the arrest of Anthony Lee Moore, 45 of Plainwell, for possession of child sexually abusive material.

Moore was arrested following an investigation in which digital evidence was seized from his residence. The investigation stemmed from an undercover operation regarding his online activity involving the downloading and viewing of child sexual exploitation.

Following the search of his residence, Moore was charged with aggravated possession of child sexually abusive material, distributing child sexually abusive material, and using a computer to commit a crime. Moore was arraigned in the 57th District Court on Thursday, May 11.

If convicted, Moore faces up to 10 years in prison for aggravated possession of child sexually abusive material, 7 years for distributing child sexually abusive material, and 10 years for using a computer to commit a crime.
