Perry Resident Arrested for Possession of Child Sexually Abusive Material

Perry, MICH. The Michigan State Police (MSP) Computer Crimes Unit, Internet Crimes Against Children (ICAC) Task Force is announcing the arrest of Daniel William Leddy, 26 of Perry, for possession of child sexually abusive material.

Leddy was arrested following an investigation in which digital evidence was seized from his home. The investigation was initiated when it was learned that Leddy was viewing files of child sexually abusive material on the internet.

Leddy was charged with one count of possession of child sexually abusive material. Leddy was arraigned in 66th District Court on Thursday, November 3rd.

The MSP Computer Crimes Unit encourages parents to speak to their children about the safe use of the internet. There are many resources available to parents to assist in keeping children safe online.
