Peck Resident Arrested for Possession of Child Sexually Abusive Material

PECK, MICH. The Michigan State Police (MSP) Computer Crimes Unit, Internet Crimes Against Children (ICAC) Task Force is announcing the arrest of Anthony Preston Caulkins, 29 of Peck, for possession of child sexually abusive material, child sexually abusive activity and using a computer to commit a crime.
Caulkins was arrested following an investigation in which digital evidence was seized from his home. The investigation was initiated when it was learned that Caulkins was sharing files of child sexually abusive material on the internet.
Caulkins was charged with four counts of child sexually abusive activity – aggravated distributing, four counts child sexually abusive material – aggravated possession, and eight counts of using a computer to commit a crime. Caulkins was arraigned in 73A District Court on Friday, January 31.
MSP was assisted on-scene by the Bad Axe Police Department and the Peck Police Department.
