Paw Paw Man Arrested for Child Sexually Abusive Material

PAW PAW, MICH. The Michigan State Police (MSP) Computer Crimes Unit, Internet Crimes Against Children (ICAC) Task Force is announcing the arrest of Bryan James Koviak, 41 of Paw Paw, for aggravated possession of child sexually abusive material.

Koviak was arrested following an investigation in which digital evidence was seized from his residence. The investigation stemmed from an undercover investigation into his online activity involving the possession and dissemination of child sexual exploitation material.

Koviak was charged with aggravated possession of child sexually abusive material and using a computer to commit a crime. Koviak was arraigned in the 7th District Court on Monday, September 11.

If convicted, Koviak faces up to 20 years in prison for the charge of aggravated possession of child sexually abusive material.
