Owosso Resident Arrested for Aggravated Possession of Child Sexually Abusive Material and Criminal Sexual Conduct in the Second Degree

OWOSSO, MICH. The Michigan State Police (MSP) Computer Crimes Unit, Internet Crimes Against Children (ICAC) Task Force is announcing the arrest of Jose Francisco Perez, 49 of Owosso, for aggravated possession of child sexually abusive material, using a computer to commit a crime, and criminal sexual conduct (CSC) in the second degree.

Perez was arrested following an investigation in which digital evidence was seized from his home. The investigation was initiated when it was learned that Perez accessed files of child sexually abusive material on the internet.

Perez was charged with two counts of aggravated possession of child sexually abusive material, two counts of using a computer to commit a crime, and one count of CSC in the second degree. Perez was arraigned in 66th District Court on Tuesday, October 19.
