Muskegon Heights Man Arrested for Child Sexually Abusive Material

MUSKEGON HEIGHTS, MICH. The Michigan State Police (MSP) Computer Crimes Unit, Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force is announcing the arrest of Antonio Lashun Aldridge, 42, of Muskegon Heights, for aggravated distributing or promoting of child sexually abusive material, aggravated possession of child sexually abusive material, using a computer to commit a crime, felon in possession of firearm, and felon in possession of ammunition.

Aldridge was arrested following an investigation in which digital evidence was seized from his residence. The investigation was initiated when it was learned that Aldridge was distributing files of child sexually abusive material on the internet.

Aldridge was charged with one count of aggravated distribution of child sexually abusive material, one count of aggravated possession of child sexually abusive material, one count of using a computer to commit a crime, one count of felon in possession of firearm, and one count of felon in possession of ammunition. Aldridge was arraigned in the 60th District Court on Wednesday, August 30.

If convicted, Aldridge faces up to 15 years in prison for aggravated distribution of child sexually abusive material, 10 years in prison for aggravated possession of child sexually abusive material, 20 years in prison for using a computer to commit a crime, 5 years in prison for felon in possession of firearm, and 5 years in prison for felon in possession of ammunition.
