Lansing Resident Arrested for Child Sexually Abusive Activity and Aggravated Possession of Child Sexually Abusive Material

LANSING, MICH. The Michigan State Police (MSP) Computer Crimes Unit, Internet Crimes Against Children (ICAC) Task Force is announcing the arrest of Joshua John Fraleigh, 32, of Lansing, for child sexually abusive activity and aggravated possession of child sexually abusive material. This investigation was completed in conjunction with the Tulsa County Sheriff’s Office in Oklahoma.
Fraleigh was arrested after an investigation that was initiated in Tulsa County Oklahoma when members of the Tulsa County Sheriff’s Office became aware of a juvenile in their jurisdiction that had been communicating via the internet with an adult man from Michigan. A search of Fraleigh’s residence resulted digital evidence being seized.
Fraleigh was charged with child sexually abusive activity, aggravated possession of child sexually abusive material, and using a computer to commit a crime. Fraleigh was arraigned in the 56A District Court on Monday, August 21.
If convicted, Fraleigh faces up to 25 years in prison for child sexually abusive activity, Upt to 10 years in prison for aggravated possession of child sexually abusive material, and 10 years in prson using a computer to commit a crime.
