Lake Man Arrested for Child Sexually Abusive Material

LAKE, MICH. The Michigan State Police (MSP) Computer Crimes Unit, Internet Crimes Against Children (ICAC) Task Force is announcing the arrest of Anthony Alan Dutcher, 39, of Lake, for aggravated possession of child sexually abusive material, and using a computer to commit a crime.

Dutcher was arrested following an investigation in which digital evidence was seized from his residence. The investigation was initiated when it was learned that Dutcher was uploading files of child sexually abusive material online.

Dutcher was charged with seven counts of aggravated possession of child sexually abusive material, and seven counts of using a computer to commit a crime. Dutcher was arraigned in the 80th District Court on Wednesday, December 20.

If convicted, Dutcher faces up to 10 years in prison for each count of aggravated possession of child sexually abusive material, and 10 years in prison for each count of using a computer to commit a crime.
