Jackson Man Arrested for Possession of Child Sexually Abusive Material

Jackson, MICH. The Michigan State Police (MSP) Computer Crimes Unit, Internet Crimes Against Children (ICAC) Task Force is announcing the arrest of Zhavian Kamani Cleveland, 24, of Jackson, for possession of child sexually abusive material aggravated and using a computer to commit a crime.

Cleveland was arrested following a Michigan Department of Corrections compliance check in which digital evidence was seized from his home.

Following the compliance check, Cleveland was charged with criminal sexual conduct, child sexually abusive material, and using a computer to commit a crime. Cleveland was arraigned in 12th District Court on Friday, April 16.

If convicted Cleveland faces up to life in prison for criminal sexual conduct, 20 years for each count of child sexually abusive material aggravated, and 20 years for using a computer to commit a crime.
