Grand Rapids Man Arrested for Child Sexually Abusive Activity
Investigation Finds Exploitation of Minor Children

GRAND RAPIDS, MICH. The Michigan State Police (MSP) Computer Crimes Unit (CCU), Internet Crimes Against Children (ICAC) Task Force, is announcing the arrest of Tyler James Jandernoa, 31 of Grand Rapids, following an over yearlong undercover investigation into his online activity.

The MSP CCU/ICAC Task Force Grand Rapids Office, along with the assistance of the Grand Rapids Police Department (ICAC affiliate agency), arrested Jandernoa in Mason County (Nordhouse Dunes area) following a search warrant at his Eastown residence. Additional evidence was seized, and he was lodged at the Kent County Jail. The Kent County Prosecutor’s Office charged Jandernoa and he was arraigned on child sexually abusive material (aggravated distribution), child sexually abusive material (distribution), child sexually abusive material (aggravated possession), and two counts of using a computer to commit a crime.
