Grand Blanc Resident Arrested for Child Sexually Abusive Activity and Using a Computer to Commit a Crime

GRAND BLANC, MICH. The Michigan State Police (MSP) Computer Crimes Unit, Internet Crimes Against Children (ICAC) Task Force is announcing the arrest of Bastian Michael Wilhelm, 18 of Grand Blanc, for child sexually abusive activity – distributing or promoting and using a computer to commit a crime.
Wilhelm was arrested following an investigation in which digital evidence was seized from his home. The investigation was initiated when it was learned that Wilhelm was viewing child sexually abusive materials on the internet.
Following the search warrant at his residence, Wilhelm was charged with one count of child sexually abusive activity – distributing or promoting and one count of using a computer to commit a crime. Wilhelm was arraigned in 67th District Court on Tuesday, April 13.
