Genesee County Resident Arrested for Aggravated Child Sexually Abusive Activity and Using a Computer to Commit a Crime

FENTON, MICH. The Michigan State Police (MSP) Computer Crimes Unit, Internet Crimes Against Children (ICAC) Task Force is announcing the arrest of Robert Kyle Franks, 42 of Fenton, for aggravated child sexually abusive material possession and using a computer to commit a crime.
Franks was arrested following an investigation in which digital evidence was seized from his residence. The investigation was initiated when it was learned that Franks accessed files of child sexually abusive material on the internet.
Franks was charged with one count of aggravated child sexually abusive material-aggravated possession and one count of using a computer to commit a crime. Franks was arraigned in 67th District Court on Thursday, August 31.
