Flushing Resident Arrested for Possession of Child Sexually Abusive Material and Using a Computer to Commit a Crime

FLUSHING, MICH. The Michigan State Police (MSP) Computer Crimes Unit, Internet Crimes Against Children (ICAC) Task Force is announcing the arrest of Brandon Erich Brown, 32 of Flushing, for possession of child sexually abusive material and using a computer to commit a crime.

Brown was arrested following an investigation in which digital evidence was seized from his home. The investigation was initiated when it was learned that Brown was viewing child sexually abusive materials on the internet.

Following the search warrant to his residence, Brown was charged with four counts of possession of child sexually abusive material, and four counts of using a computer to commit a crime. Brown was arraigned in 67th District Court on Tuesday, March 2, 2021.
