East Tawas Resident Arrested for Aggravated Possession of Child Sexually Abusive Material

EAST TAWAS, MICH. The Michigan State Police (MSP) Computer Crimes Unit, Internet Crimes Against Children (ICAC) Task Force is announcing the arrest of Ryan Wesley Journey, 33 of Iosco County, for aggravated possession of child sexually abusive material.
Journey was arrested following an investigation in which digital evidence was seized from his residence. The investigation was initiated when it was learned that Journey was viewing files of child sexually abusive material on the internet.
Journey was charged with three counts of aggravated possession of child sexually abusive material and three counts of using a computer to commit a crime. Journey was arraigned in the 81st District Court on Friday, September 20.
