Detroit Resident Arrested for Multiple Counts of Criminal Sexual Conduct Involving Children

DETROIT, MICH. The Michigan State Police (MSP) Computer Crimes Unit, Internet Crimes Against Children (ICAC) Task Force is announcing the arrest of Keimonie Nee’kaj Stokes, 19, of Detroit, for multiple counts of criminal sexual conduct involving children.
Stokes was arrested during an investigation originating from a cyber tip that was received from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children (NCMEC). A search of Stokes’ residence resulted in evidence being seized and the identification of two child victims.
Stokes was charged with two counts of first degree criminal sexual conduct, and two counts of second degree criminal sexual conduct. Stokes was arraigned in the 34th District Court on Tuesday, July 09.
Homeland Security Investigations (HSI) has submitted several additional charges for federal prosecution and Stokes is currently being held in federal custody. If convicted, Stokes faces 25 years to life in prison for each charge of first degree criminal sexual conduct, and up to 15 years in prison for each charge of second degree criminal sexual conduct.
