Davison Township Resident Arrested for Possession of Child Sexually Abusive Material and Using a Computer to Commit a Crime

DAVISON, MICH. The Michigan State Police (MSP) Computer Crimes Unit, Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force is announcing the arrest of Tyler Scott Defeyter, 24 of Davison, for possession of child sexually abusive materials and using a computer to commit a crime.

Defeyter was arrested following an investigation in which digital evidence was seized from his home. The investigation was initiated when it was learned that Defeyter was sharing child sexually abusive materials on the internet.

Following a forensic examination of the digital evidence, Defeyter was charged with one count of possession of child sexually abusive material and one count of using a computer to commit a crime. Defeyter was arraigned in 67th District Court on Wednesday, October 28th.
