Clinton Township Resident Arrested for Possession of Child Sexually Abusive Material

CLINTON TONWSHIP, MICH. The Michigan State Police (MSP) Computer Crimes Unit, Internet Crimes Against Children (ICAC) Task Force is announcing the arrest of Zachery Noordyke, 32 of Clinton Township, for possession of child sexually abusive material and using a computer to commit a crime.

Noordyke was arrested following an investigation originating from a cyber tip from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children (NCMEC). A search of Noordyke’s residence resulted in digital evidence being seized.

Noordyke was charged with one count of possession of child sexually abusive material and one count of using a computer to commit a crime. Noordyke was arraigned in the 41-B District Court, Clinton Township on Thursday, April 17.

If convicted, Noordyke faces up to 4 years in prison for possession of child sexually abusive material and 4-10 years in prison for using a computer to commit a crime.
