Clare man Arrested for Aggravated Possession of Child Sexually Abusive Material

CLARE, MICH. The Michigan State Police (MSP) Computer Crimes Unit, Internet Crimes Against Children (ICAC) Task Force is announcing the arrest of Timothy Scott Beals, 40 of Clare, for aggravated possession of child sexually abusive material and using a computer to commit a crime.
Beals was arrested following an investigation which began when the Garfield County Sheriff’s Office from Glenwood Springs, Colorado, requested assistance for an ongoing exploitation of a minor investigation involving Beals.
Beals was charged with two counts of aggravated possession of child sexually abusive material, four counts of possession of child sexually abusive material, and six counts of using a computer to commit a crime. Beals was arraigned in the 80th Judicial District Court on December 21.
The MSP ICAC Task Force was assisted by the Clare Police Department.
