Bridgeport Resident Arrested for Aggravated Possession and Using a Computer to Commit a Crime

BRIDGEPORT, MICH. The Michigan State Police (MSP) Computer Crimes Unit, Internet Crimes Against Children (ICAC) Task Force is announcing the arrest of John Henry Gomez, 64 of Bridgeport, for aggravated possession of child sexually abusive material and using a computer to commit a crime
Gomez surrendered himself to the court following an investigation in which digital evidence was seized from his home. The investigation was initiated when it was learned that Gomez was viewing files of child sexually abusive material on the internet.
Gomez was charged with three counts of aggravated possession of child sexually abusive material and four counts of using a computer to commit a crime. Gomez was arraigned in 70th District Court on Thursday, January 4.
