Berrien County Man Arrested for Child Sexually Abusive Material

ST. JOSEPH, MICH. The Michigan State Police (MSP) Computer Crimes Unit, Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force is announcing the arrest of Alexander Paul-Ticknor Rendell, 36 of St. Joseph, for Aggravated Possession of Child Sexually Abusive Material and computer crimes – use of a computer.

The investigation was initiated by the Fifth District Computer Crimes Unit in Coldwater when a suspect was found to be downloading a large amount of child sexually abusive material (CSAM). A search warrant was conducted at Rendell’s residence and digital evidence was seized. An interview was conducted on scene. The Berrien County Sheriff’s Office assisted with the investigation and search warrant.

An arrest warrant was issued for Rendell and he was subsequently arrested on January 29, 2021. He has been charged with Aggravated Possession of CSAM.
