Saginaw County Resident Arrested for Possession of Child Sexually Abusive Material and Using a Computer to Commit a Crime
Shields, MICH. The Michigan State Police (MSP) Computer Crimes Unit, Internet Crimes Against Children (ICAC) Task Force is announcing the arrest of Alfred Charles Reed, 22 of Shields, for possession of child sexually abusive material and using a computer to commit a crime.
Reed was arrested following an investigation in which digital evidence was seized from his home. The investigation was initiated when it was learned that Reed was viewing files of child sexually abusive material on the internet.
Following the search warrant to his residence, Reed was charged with five counts of possession of child sexually abusive material and five counts of using a computer to commit a crime. Reed was arraigned in 70th District Court on Wednesday, August 4th.
