Roscommon County Man Charged with Possession of Child Sexually Abusive Material
TRAVERSE CITY, MICH. An investigation conducted by the Michigan State Police (MSP) Computer Crimes Unit (CCU), Internet Crimes Against Children (ICAC) Task Force has resulted in charges for a Roscommon County man.
David Charles Flamand, 29 of Houghton Lake, was arraigned today, Tuesday, July 28, in 82nd District Court and is charged with several criminal counts, including child sexually abusive activity, and using a computer to commit a crime. Flamand was in jail on unrelated charges.
The investigation stemmed from a tip provided by the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children (NCMEC). The MSP was assisted by probation and parole officers from the Roscommon County Michigan Department of Corrections (MDOC) office.
