Oakley Resident Arrested for Child Sexually Abusive Activity and Using a Computer to Commit a Crime

OAKLEY, MICH. The Michigan State Police (MSP) Computer Crimes Unit, Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force is announcing the arrest of Dalton Shy Otto, 19 of Oakley, for child sexually abusive activity, aggravated possession of child sexually abusive materials and using a computer to commit a crime.

Otto was arrested following an investigation in which digital evidence was seized from his home. The investigation was initiated when it was learned that Otto was sharing child sexually abusive materials on the internet.

Following a forensic examination of the digital evidence, Otto was charged with one count of child sexually abusive activity, one count of aggravated possession of child sexually abusive material and two counts of using a computer to commit a crime. Otto was arraigned in 70th District Court on Wednesday, Dec. 10.
