Benton Harbor Man Arrested for Child Sexually Abusive Activity
BENTON HARBOR, MICH. An investigation conducted by the Michigan State Police (MSP) Internet Crimes Against Children (ICAC) Task Force has resulted in the arrest of a man from Benton Harbor. Matthew Davidson, 36, was arrested and arraigned on Dec. 13, 2019.
The investigation stemmed from a National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) tip, which contained images of child sexually abusive material. Further investigation led to locating a residence in Benton Harbor where the suspect was residing. Following an execution of a search warrant, an arrest warrant was issued for Davidson and he subsequently turned himself in.
Davidson has been charged with child sexually abusive activity, use of a computer to commit a crime, possession of child sexually abusive material, and distribution of child sexually abusive material.
