Bay County Resident Arraigned for Aggravated Distributing Child Sexually Abusive Material and Aggravated Possession of Child Sexually Abusive Material
KAWKAWLIN, MICH. The Michigan State Police (MSP) Computer Crimes Unit, Internet Crimes Against Children (ICAC) Task Force is announcing the arraignment of Daniel Francis Swiecicki, 44 of Kawkawlin, for child sexually abusive activity – aggravated distributing and child sexually abusive material – aggravated possession.
Swiecicki appeared in court following an investigation in which digital evidence was seized from his home. The investigation was initiated when it was learned that Swiecicki shared child sexually abusive materials on the internet.
Following a forensic examination of the digital evidence, Swiecicki was charged with one count of child sexually abusive activity – aggravated distributing and one count of child sexually abusive material – aggravated possession. Swiecicki was arraigned in 74th District Court on March 4.
