Bay County Man Arraigned for Child Sexually Abusive Activity
BAY CITY, MICH. The Michigan State Police (MSP) Computer Crimes Unit, Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force are announcing the arrest of Scott Michael Myers, 24 of Bay County, for child sexually abusive activity.
The investigation was initiated when Myers began communicating on the internet with an undercover detective posing as a child. Myers arranged to meet the child for sexual purposes and was arrested by detectives when he arrived at the meeting location.
Myers was charged with one count of accosting a minor for immoral purposes and one count of using a computer to commit a crime. Myers was arraigned in 74th District Court, in Bay County, on Aug.12.
